蓄电池充电电路保护
图1是一个典型的电池充电电路。其中,交流电通过AC/DC电源适配器转变为合适电压对电池组进行充电。PPTC元件与过压保护元件协调作用共同完成下列工作:
1)针对可能损坏FET以及电池组的过大电流,提供过电流保护。
2)极性倒置时,PPTC通过动作以限制由于齐纳二极管正向导通而产生的过电流。
3)在过电压元件对电压过载提供保护时,由PPTC元件对导通电流进行限制,以保护过压器件。
PPTC元件也可以用于接电池组的装置的端口,以保护由于使用有故障或不匹配的电池组而带来的过电流损害。对各种免提式汽车通话装置或耳机等供电时,电池组输出端保护亦能提供理想的保护功能。
